I read an article recently that stated, “Fear is temporary; regrets are forever”. This painting started with the title and then the image followed. Most of the risky parts of my life were dictated by fear; fear of “what if”, fear of “failure”, fear of “commitment”, and the list could go on and on.  After reviewing some moments in life, I started to realize, that on the other side of the fear there was something amazing. (usually) I transformed this idea into a visual form. Some primal fear is necessary, but the irrational fear can be blinding until you allow yourself to get on the other side.
