“Less Is More” is a rhythmic exploration of restraint, repetition, and quiet complexity. This large-scale piece uses a grid-based language of circles—some stamped, some painted, some left open—to explore the balance between presence and absence, noise and silence. The deliberate spacing of these marks suggests a coded system or forgotten score, whispering of order while inviting interpretation. Faint washes of gray and white create a subtle, weathered backdrop layered with smudges, transfers, and textures, lending a sense of time and erosion. Overlaid bursts of red, yellow, and deep indigo dots hint at emotion within structure, energy within minimalism. The repetition becomes a meditation—each mark intentional, each variation meaningful. The work challenges the viewer to slow down, notice details, and engage with the in-between. It is a visual pause that rewards attention with harmony and subtle contrast.
