CONCEPT AND INSPIRATION
Finding Balance in a World of Edges reflects the constant negotiation between the structures around us and the need to find our own sense of steadiness within them. Life rarely presents itself in perfectly balanced pieces, and I’m interested in how we learn to move through those uneven spaces without losing our sense of self. Visually, strong architectural forms, sharp divisions, and intersecting lines create a world that feels constructed and defined. Against that structure, layers of softened whites, worn edges, and expressive marks disrupt the order. The vivid blues move through the composition like an undercurrent, while the repeated squares suggest individual experiences, choices, and moments searching for their place within something larger.
