WHERE STILLNESS FINDS ITS SHAPE
I created Where Stillness Finds Its Shape as a reflection on the quiet spaces we rarely notice but deeply need. In a world that constantly asks us to move faster, respond quicker, and carry more, I wanted this painting to honor the moments when we finally allow ourselves to settle.
The layered washes of blue, white, and softened neutrals suggest thoughts drifting, emotions easing, and the gradual release of mental noise. The scattered geometric marks move across the surface like fragments of experience—memories, obligations, conversations, and questions—all finding their place within a larger sense of calm. Nothing is forced into order, yet everything belongs.
For me, stillness is not the absence of movement. It is the moment when life stops demanding answers and simply allows us to be. It is where clarity begins to emerge, not through effort, but through acceptance.
