CONCEPT AND INSPIRATION
I think we spend so much of life chasing the next thing that we forget to notice what's quietly unfolding right in front of us. While painting this piece, I found myself drawn to the small moments—the unexpected color, the gentle shifts, the marks that weren't part of the plan but somehow became my favorite parts. Collecting Beautiful Distractions is about giving myself permission to wander, to pause, and to let curiosity lead instead of certainty. Sometimes the things that distract us aren't pulling us away at all—they're gently guiding us toward something we didn't know we needed.
